The Irish Primary Principals’ Network (IPPN) has recently established a National Centre for Leadership and Innovation (NCLI).

This centre is the first of its kind dedicated to unlocking the capacity of leadership within school communities. The National Centre for Leadership and Innovation is now accepting nominations for a Leadership Award from within the school community.

Description

The NCLI Leadership Award will honour and recognise an individual who demonstrates exceptional leadership qualities. Along with other traits, the award recognizes those who are driven by a compelling belief that the future can be a better place. They influence others through their actions and demonstrate personal integrity, honesty, and trust. The chosen Awardee will receive a sponsored cash prize of €2,000.

We are delighted to have esteemed leaders on this year’s adjudicators panel – retired Supreme Court judge and lifelong activist, Catherine McGuinness and retired primary school principal and founding President of IPPN, Jim Hayes. The third adjudicator will be announced shortly.
