IPPN is the professional network for primary school leaders in Ireland. We work to support and enhance the leadership of Ireland’s primary schools. We do this through the provision of supports and services and through targeted advocacy, shaped by the professional insight of school leaders. By doing so, we seek to impact positively not only on school leaders and their practice, but also on education policy and priorities, in service of children.
The principal and deputy principal of member schools can avail of the full suite of IPPN’s supports and services including access to our Leadership Support service, template policies and resources on our website, bespoke support for newly-appointed or acting school leaders through our Stepping into Leadership programme and our weekly e-newsletter which contains the latest updates and sectoral information to keep you up-to-date. We also provide professional development opportunities through our annual conferences and our online summer course, Ciall Ceannaithe.
IPPN connects school leaders, locally and nationally, and harnesses the collective experience and wisdom of the network to enhance individual leadership practice and to deliver better outcomes for children, schools, communities, and the wider education system.
Membership Fee:
- Administrative Principal & Deputy Principal – €290
- Teaching Principal & Deputy Principal – €250
Please note that membership of IPPN is a valid expense, payable by your Board of Management, as stipulated in Circular 14/02 (Word Doc).
