IPPN’s position papers set out the organisation’s policy on a range of matters of importance to school leadership. Typically, position papers are proactively developed by IPPN, whereas submissions are often in response to a request for input or a formal consultation process initiated by an education stakeholder.
IPPN position papers are evidence-based and reflect the issues being experienced in schools by the various cohorts of IPPN’s members, reflecting the wide range of school types in primary education.
In preparing position papers, IPPN seeks input from members – directly and via working groups – as well as from the Advocacy & Communications committee of the National Council, the National Council and Board of Directors. Position papers are ratified by the Board of Directors.
