Deputy Principals' Conference 2015

The IPPN Deputy Principals' Conference took place on Thursday 28th May and Friday 29th May in Citywest Hotel, Saggart, Co. Dublin.

Professor Daire Keogh, President of St Patrick's College, Drumcondra and Maria Doyle, IPPN Deputy President  addressed the conference in a joint session on Friday afternoon. Brendan McCabe, IPPN President facilitated the conference.

In addition to the keynote speakers, there were three seminar sessions - one on Thursday evening and two on Friday. Participants chose from the following topics:

• Multi-grade teaching - Practical Tips - Caroline Madigan

• 'Taking Care with Touch’: the realities of using physical interventions and restrictive practices in schools - Aisling Heidt & Siobhán Allen
• TeachHub – Deputy to Deputy Micro Presentations, facilitated by Pat Goff.
